Dealership Websites & Automotive Systems
Help buyers compare vehicles, ask about stock and reach the right team. We build automotive websites and system connections around the way your business handles those requests.
Let’s talkWhat we can build for your automotive team

A buyer may arrive with a model in mind, a monthly budget or a particular vehicle they saw advertised. Your website needs to help them narrow the choice and make a useful enquiry. We can scope the content, stock connections and sales handover together, so the receiving team knows what prompted the request.
| What you need | Work to scope |
|---|---|
| A dealership website people can use | Vehicle discovery, model pages, clear contact routes and mobile layouts |
| Stock published without repeated capture | Vehicle stock feeds and inventory integration |
| Enquiries reaching the right sales team | CRM integration, vehicle references, territory rules and fallback ownership |
| Marketing connected to sales feedback | Campaign landing pages, approved attribution fields and reporting stages |
| Consistent dealer assessments | Assessment and mystery-shopping platforms |
| Better qualification and distribution | Separate consumer, fleet, test-drive and distributor workflows |
See the work behind the offer
Digicars shows a vehicle-search interface and buying journey. Chery SA presents mobile product and ownership screens. Suzuki Secret Shopper shows assessment and reporting layouts. Use these galleries to discuss how information is presented and what a visitor needs to find.
The galleries document interfaces; the anonymised automotive assessment case study explains a more detailed delivery scope without attributing it to a named gallery client.
A first phase your sales team can test
Start with one model or stock source, one enquiry category and one receiving team. Bring an approved model page or stock sample, the fields your sales team needs and the destination for the request. Together, we can follow a synthetic enquiry through to the person who acts on it and check that the vehicle reference and customer context arrive intact.
Include a sold vehicle, an out-of-area request and an unavailable destination in the checks. Decide what the visitor should see in each case and who handles the exception. A test-drive request must not appear as a confirmed booking unless the receiving system supports it.
For stock integration, confirm the source product and its available interface. For campaigns, the business approves vehicle specifications, offers and finance wording. Monitoring, advertising spend and supplier fees need their own scope.
What will it cost?
The published development rate is R850/hour excluding VAT. Website pricing explains the page-based starting model; integration budgeting separates record flows and operational work. A dealership site with feeds and CRM routing needs a reviewed scope rather than a page-only estimate.
To help us estimate the work, share the intended page types, stock source and enquiry destinations. Several model pages may share a layout, while each stock or CRM connection still needs its own checks. Those details help us distinguish content work from integration work before you commit to a phase.
Give each enquiry a useful destination
A customer might move from a model advert to a dealer page, then call about a specific vehicle. If those steps disagree, they can end up asking about unavailable stock, reaching the wrong location or repeating details they already supplied.
We help automotive businesses connect those steps through model and product content, campaign landing pages, enquiry forms, dealer information and a handover specification. A request about a specific stock item should carry its reference; a general model enquiry needs enough context for the team to understand the customer’s interest. The scope follows your sales model, including where a dealer conversation is needed before anything can be confirmed.
Clarify the decision at each stage
Someone comparing vehicles needs specifications and clear differences between options. Someone choosing a dealership needs location information and a contact route. Someone requesting a test drive needs to understand what happens after submitting the form. Navigation and calls to action should help each person take that next step.
Product details, pricing and promotional claims need approval from the responsible business team before publication. For a manufacturer or importer, an initial programme might bring together a market-facing website, localisation, campaign creative and enquiry routing. For a dealer or service business, it may begin with clearer local information and a simpler appointment or sales enquiry pathway.
Build a sales handover the team can maintain
The handover needs to make sense to the person opening the enquiry, as well as the person building the form. Useful discovery questions include:
- Which models, products or services can each location handle?
- Who receives an enquiry and how is responsibility confirmed?
- What information does the customer need before a sales call?
- How will duplicate, unanswered or misrouted enquiries be reviewed?
- Which systems hold stock, location and sales-status information?
API integrations and CRM connections require approved access and agreement about which system supplies each field. For example, if a stock feed marks a vehicle as sold, decide how its detail page and enquiry route should respond. A website should not promise live availability unless the underlying data and operating process support it.
Keep commercial evidence honest
An enquiry is not a vehicle sale. Agree which stages your team can maintain, such as assignment, acceptance and customer contact, before using them to assess campaigns. Keep the meaning of each stage clear: a message delivered to a dealer inbox does not show that a salesperson has spoken to the customer. We do not infer revenue from clicks or publish automotive performance claims without evidence.
Explore customer acquisition or the China-to-Africa pathway for a new-market brief. Discuss your automotive journey with the current website, dealer structure and the point where handovers are failing.
A proposed campaign-to-dealer acceptance exercise
For example, choose an approved model and participating location, then submit three synthetic requests: a purchase enquiry, a fleet request and a request outside the defined territory. Ask the receiving sales reviewer to find each request, identify who should act on it and check which details survived the handover.
Then check the awkward case: a request has arrived, but no team has accepted it. Can the reviewer recognise it and explain who should follow up? This is a possible test plan, not a claim that Webvelopment has delivered or measured this particular campaign.
The results can show whether the next phase needs clearer content, routing changes or an agreed way for the team to handle exceptions. Resolve those questions before adding more campaign pages and destinations.
Review a model page and its receiving route together
Bring one current model page, its approved specifications and offer wording, and an example of the enquiry the sales team receives. We can compare what the visitor is told with what the team sees: the model or stock reference, chosen location, request type and any details needed for a reply. Confirm the fallback for a request that cannot reach its intended destination.
A recorded automotive portfolio image can inform a presentation discussion; it does not establish the stack, dealer arrangements or results behind a new brief.
Automotive project questions
A few useful answers before you decide.
Does every model need a separate campaign page?
Can the website show stock or availability?
How should fleet and consumer enquiries differ?
Who approves a vehicle offer?
What happens when a dealer does not accept an enquiry?
Can this programme begin with one territory?
