For UK agencies and businesses

Your offshore team.
A closer partnership.

White-label work

Webvelopment provides South African website and software delivery for UK agencies and businesses. Bring a client-approved website brief, an inherited PHP application or an ongoing backlog; we will scope the implementation, review responsibilities and handover around the work you need to complete.

A partner behind the delivery

Keep the client relationship. Strengthen the implementation.

A useful offshore partner makes work easier to plan and review. The relationship starts with a clear brief, named decision owners and the boundaries of the first delivery.

UK agencies often need a dependable route for overflow work, inherited websites or an ongoing application backlog. We can work behind your brand or alongside your internal team, with client visibility, communication and release authority agreed before the project begins.

The proposition is accountable capacity and practical value. Proposals can discuss GBP presentation and UK-compatible review windows, subject to agreement. We do not assume unlimited availability, a fixed support SLA or permission to approach your clients independently.

Implementation for UK teams

A clear extension of your delivery process.

Choose project-based implementation, a defined retainer or dedicated capacity according to the work and the decisions your team needs to retain.

Development can cover PHP applications, commerce and custom business workflows. Website work includes WordPress, user experience and a maintainable public presence. Shared marketing and creative services are available when the brief needs those disciplines.

Before the first task, agree the repository, environments, acceptance examples and reviewer. An agency should be able to explain what was completed, what needs a client decision and what belongs in a change request without translating an unclear technical update.

More room to deliver

Webvelopment provides South African website and software delivery for UK agencies and businesses. Bring a client-approved website brief, an inherited PHP application or an ongoing backlog; we will scope the implementation, review responsibilities and handover around the work you need to complete.

For agencies, that can mean white-label implementation under your client relationship. For a business, it might mean a defined website project or ongoing PHP support. The relationship starts with the work you need done and the decisions your own team needs to retain.

A practical working arrangement

We agree the review cadence, named decision-makers and release responsibilities before work begins. Ask about meeting times that fit your UK team; any overlap and support availability are confirmed in the proposal rather than assumed. GBP-denominated proposals can be discussed, with invoicing currency and commercial terms agreed for the engagement.

You should be able to see the work, understand the next decision and know what is waiting on you. Reviewable increments, a maintained backlog and written acceptance criteria make that possible. Your accounts, repositories and client materials stay under the ownership arrangements you approve.

Choose your starting point

We favour a scoped first engagement with a clear review point. It gives both teams evidence about communication, code quality and fit before making a longer commitment. Tell us what needs to move forward.

Choose the first engagement by the decision it must settle

An agency producer may need to establish whether an approved design is ready for implementation. A business owner may need to discover why an existing application is difficult to change. Those are different purchases: a production brief, a technical assessment or continuing capacity should each have a named reviewer and a useful stopping point.

Development and websites can sit alongside marketing and creative work when the project needs them. Confirm the disciplines included before treating one proposal as a complete client programme. Start with the UK service routes and use the recorded portfolio to identify the kind of artefact you want to discuss. Your first review should establish scope, communication and ownership rather than depend on a promised saving or unverified local office.

Questions before we work together

A few useful answers before you decide.

How does a white-label engagement protect our client relationship?
Agree who may speak to the client, whose identity appears in meetings and where approvals are recorded. We can implement behind your agency’s delivery process while you retain strategy, account management and final commercial decisions. Confidentiality and intellectual-property arrangements belong in the contract. An agency brief should state those boundaries before access or client material is shared.
Can we bring an inherited WordPress or PHP codebase?
Yes, with an initial review of access, dependencies, environments and the release process. An inherited system may contain undocumented business rules or supplier constraints that affect an estimate. A small discovery stage establishes what can be maintained safely and what needs remediation. We do not promise a fixed ongoing workload before understanding the platform we would be changing.
How are review windows arranged with a UK team?
Discuss the actual people, meeting requirements and decision turnaround for the engagement. UK-compatible review windows can be agreed subject to capacity, rather than assumed to mean unlimited same-day availability. The working process should also support written questions, demonstrations and consolidated feedback so progress does not depend on everyone being in one meeting.
Can proposals be presented in GBP?
GBP presentation can be discussed as part of the commercial proposal. The agreed document should identify the currency, payment terms, scope, third-party costs and how changes are handled. We do not publish unverified rates or exchange-rate savings. Comparing suppliers is more useful when the same responsibilities and acceptance criteria are included in each proposal.
When does dedicated capacity suit an agency?
It can fit an ongoing, prioritised backlog with an internal owner who can prepare tasks and review work. A one-off build may suit a project scope instead. The arrangement should identify technical leadership, expected availability and how capacity is allocated between implementation, review and maintenance. Dedicated time is not a promise that every request is immediately ready to start.
What should be included in our first implementation brief?
Provide approved designs or the design questions still open, complete content status, supported breakpoints, integrations and acceptance examples. Include repository and environment ownership, the reviewer and who can authorise deployment. A concise readiness checklist helps distinguish a defect from a new request and makes the next client update easier to explain.
How are urgent changes and website maintenance handled?
Define the support window, escalation route and release authority separately from normal implementation capacity. Urgent changes may require investigation or another supplier’s access before they can be estimated. A maintenance plan should identify backups, licences and the person able to approve action. We do not imply a blanket response SLA or round-the-clock cover from a general retainer.
Can we start with a smaller project before a long-term partnership?
A well-bounded first project can establish communication, review quality and the practicality of the handover. Choose work with enough substance to test the relationship, while keeping acceptance clear. Review what the first delivery showed and which responsibilities need refining before extending the arrangement. A trial is useful evidence, not an automatic guarantee about future capacity.
