White-label development for US agencies
A US agency’s white-label engagement should make client communication, production readiness and revision handling explicit. Define what the delivery partner may change and what remains under the agency’s approval.
Let’s talkKeep the agency in control of the client promise

A US agency may have strong strategy and design capability while needing more implementation capacity. Webvelopment can work behind your brand, with your team retaining the account relationship, creative direction and final client approval.
We agree the engagement boundary before a project is scheduled. Some briefs arrive with approved designs, complete content and confirmed integrations. Others need technical input during proposal development. The scope should reflect the actual starting point rather than assuming all design decisions are ready for implementation.
Make the production brief concrete
Page types, responsive states, editing requirements, integrations and form handling need clear definitions. We identify missing decisions early so your producer can resolve them with the client before they become late implementation surprises.
Acceptance criteria distinguish a correction against the agreed brief from a new request. Change notes should explain the impact and options, giving your account team useful information for the client conversation. A technical issue should not force the agency to translate an unclear internal discussion into a commercial decision.
Agree visibility and confidentiality
Direct client communication, branded accounts and meeting participation are approved by your agency. Intellectual property, confidential materials and portfolio permissions are covered in the commercial arrangement. We do not assume a right to publish or independently approach your client.
Delivery may include WordPress, eCommerce or custom technical implementation, according to the brief. Paid licences, hosting, additional content and ongoing support are assigned separately.
Use a first project to establish fit
A representative engagement can show how implementation, written handover and review work with your team. Shared meeting windows and support availability are agreed specifically; a US client does not automatically create US-hours cover. Discuss a confidential agency brief or explore US delivery services.
Align the production scope with your client promise
The agency brief should state what has client approval and which decisions still require it. Include page types, responsive states, content readiness, integrations and required editor behaviour. Your producer consolidates the instruction route so implementation does not follow several incompatible versions of an approved design.
Technical assessment during proposal preparation can be a separate contribution. Its output might identify implementation risks and missing decisions. It does not reserve capacity or establish a final deadline before the commercial engagement is agreed.
Use a review your account team can defend
A proposed first increment can implement one page pattern and its editing controls. The agency checks it against the brief, obtains client decisions and returns consolidated feedback. A correction addresses the agreed requirement; a revision changes it. We explain the delivery effect so your team can make the commercial decision before additional work proceeds.
Functional acceptance includes the customer action and its receiving workflow. Migration, licences and hosting have named owners. These are practical dependencies, not tasks to assume are complete because the visual review went well.
Preserve the agency relationship at release
Handover includes the agreed source, rights, operating notes and outstanding items. Client contact, branding and portfolio use follow your approval. Ongoing support is separately scoped. A capacity relationship may be preferable for recurring ready work; a bounded assessment may be enough when the immediate need is to clarify a proposal rather than begin an entire build.
Keep one approved instruction between client feedback and code
Consolidate comments against the accepted design and supplied copy. Identify the agency decision-maker for conflicting feedback and new scope. Confirm partner visibility and use of portfolio material separately, and keep a named production approver so a delivery deadline does not silently become permission to release.
