Black Ice — original Website portfolio cover

A closer look at Black Ice

Black Ice is presented in Webvelopment’s Website collection, with a project cover and 2 gallery visuals. The home and about-page designs use blue headings and image tiles against pale backgrounds, with darker sections around the 3D imagery.

On the home page, six service tiles introduce areas including “Kiosk Manufacture”, “3D Animation” and “Video & Multimedia”. Further down, a grid of work images gives the visitor more to browse. The second visual expands the services into a varied tile layout, giving kiosk manufacture a larger image alongside smaller cards for other disciplines. You can compare these approaches with our website project collection.

What is relevant to your brief?

Notice how the images carry much of the service explanation, while short blue labels keep each discipline identifiable. The repeated “Book a free consultation” panels provide a clear invitation between the service, company and work sections. Both designs also show a map beside a contact form.

If your business offers several related services, this is a useful starting point for discussing what deserves space. For example, you might give a core service a larger tile and use smaller cards for supporting services. Bring your service list and available images so we can discuss whether each image explains the offer clearly, and which details need accompanying text.
