Tutor Doctor — original Website portfolio cover

A closer look at Tutor Doctor

Tutor Doctor is presented in Webvelopment’s Website collection with a project cover and 4 gallery visuals. The home-page visual pairs a student portrait with a turquoise-and-yellow background, then moves into service information, reviews and subject choices. Red buttons stand out against the softer colours, giving the consultation and tutor-finding routes a consistent visual cue.

The gallery also includes an “Our Difference” page and two Roodepoort pages: a service introduction and an owner profile. Together, they offer a useful comparison between explaining a wider service and introducing the people behind a local branch. You can compare these layouts with our website project collection.

What is relevant to your brief?

Look at how the home page breaks its explanation into four coloured circles labelled “Assess”, “Match”, “Tutor” and “Support”. The short labels make the sequence easy to scan before a visitor reads the longer service copy. Lower down, “Our Subjects” and “Our Tutoring Programmes” appear as compact rows beside a student photograph.

For your own website, we can discuss which information needs that quick overview and which deserves a page of its own. For example, a tutoring business might need to explain its approach before asking a parent to choose a subject or location. Bring your current service list and the questions people ask before enquiring; those give us a practical starting point for the page order and navigation.
