Zipcord — original Website portfolio cover

A closer look at Zipcord

Zipcord is presented in Webvelopment’s Website collection, with a project cover and 1 gallery visual. The desktop presentation pairs an engineering photograph with a blue-and-white palette, then moves from a company introduction into services, divisions and contact details. You can compare it with our website project collection.

The service grid gives each entry a line icon, a short description and a “Learn more” button. Labels such as “Mechanical Engineering”, “Electrical Engineering” and “3D Printing & Prototyping” give visitors distinct starting points. Below it, a separate divisions section uses company marks with coloured labels. That separation is a useful detail to discuss when a business needs to explain both what it offers and how its companies or teams are organised.

What is relevant to your brief?

Notice where the page offers a next step: “Get your project started” appears above the navigation, “Learn more” and “Contact us” sit beneath the introduction, and the final contact section pairs details with a map. These are visible layout choices you can point to when discussing how visitors should move from reading about a service to making an enquiry.

For your own site, we would start with the service names your customers recognise. For example, if a visitor knows the engineering task but does not know which division handles it, the service description could explain that relationship before asking them to choose a contact. Bring your service list, division names and any existing descriptions; we can discuss which need separate pages and which can be explained together.

Talk about similar work

Send us this project link and tell us what caught your eye: the service cards, the distinction between services and divisions, or the placement of contact details. It helps to include one typical customer question and the material you already have, such as photographs, logos or service descriptions. We can use those to discuss the content, page structure and next step for your brief. Additional client-specific background is shared only where it can be verified and appropriately disclosed.
